British

The Food in Great Britain is Multicultural, an interesting mixture of classic styles. In the Ancient times the food was influenced by the Romans, at the Medieval times by the French. Norman invasion brought in the spices of the east, Cinnamon, Saffron, Mace, Nutmeg, Peppers, Ginger, Sugar. In the late 1980’s the British cuisine took a new direction.
